Sticks of various lengths and diameters of smooth and capped bamboo are used in a unique way. Exhilarating and relaxing all in one, it cannot be described in mere words but must be experienced to appreciate the value of this incredible therapy.
Included in the class are gliding Chinese cupping and gua sha which provide deep tissue cleansing and tonification for the body.
Your clients will experience skin rejuvenation while stagnant chi and toxins are moved through the body. This technique is also useful in activating the lymphatic system, and helps to improve stretch marks and cellulite.
All these therapies benefit the massage therapist as well, by minimizing strain and stress on the hands and fingers while still allowing for deeply penetrating maneuvers.
This workshop offers 16 CE credits approved for Florida and NCBTMB renewal.

About B.B.
B.B. has pursued a lifetime dream of becoming a nationally certified, state licensed massage therapist. As a resident of Miami since 1955, B.B. brings a tropical flair to her bodywork. From her experience and education for 30 years as a teacher of biology and school librarian, there is an added dimension to her massage skills which is both beneficial and enriching.
Her advanced training includes Reiki Energy Work, Geriatric Massage, Hot Stone Massage, Lymphatic Drainage Therapy from the Upledger Institute, AquaBliss Water Flotation Massage, Chair Massage and the newest modality – Tian Di Bamboo Massage. B.B. will be teaching and training other massage therapists in this exciting therapy.
Massage Oasis was created and incorporated in 2004 as a premier chair massage business. After a two year engagement in a local area mall Massage Oasis is now providing corporations and small businesses the opportunity to offer chair massage as part of their wellness programs for employees and customers.
B.B. is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association, Florida State Massage Therapy Association, Daughters of the American Revolution, South Florida Bluegrass Association, Natives of Dade, South Florida Palm Society and Fulford United Methodist Church. Known as the “punster” her hobbies include singing, gardening, swimming, golfing and public speaking.
B.B. is a Certified Lay Speaker in the United Methodist Church, a Stephen Leader in the international Stephen Ministry program, and also a Healer at the Center for Human Development, a metaphysical center in Hollywood, Florida. She has participated and led workshops in Florida and California. Her current workshops include “Chakra Energy Balancing,” “What Jesus Taught Us About Healing,” “Bringing Healing Back Into The Church.”
She is launching a world-wide project which will help to condense the principles of “New Thought,” the idea of “One God,” and “Self Empowerment.”
