Michelle McCarthy, RMT, IARP, IET-MI has been involved with energy techniques since Reiki saved her life in 1996. A Certified Master Groomer for many years - she closed her grooming salon in 1999, and turned her life over to energy healing techniques. Today, Michelle teaches Basic, Intermediate and Advanced levels of IET, all levels of Reiki and maintains a private practice seeing clients. In her private practice, Michelle combines both Reiki and IET and has found these to be a powerful combination.

Her own life is a testimony to the power of the techniques and honors those who choose to step into healing as their life's journey. She believes firmly that each individual has the power to heal and feels especially blessed to help both her clients and her students embark on their own path to self-healing.

In addition to her private practice and teaching schedule, Michelle is a Hospice Volunteer and since 2000, has volunteered her time in a local correctional facility - teaching Reiki to the inmates. Her written Reiki articles have been published in various on-line newsletters and she has received local media attention via television and newspapers.
